It doesn't let go of what you write and save there. N my case, I am dissatisfied with Libreoffice. There are many app cleaners on the App Store, but only one is approved by DVMUG and that is the one with the beige bag icon. If you download an app that you don't want you must have an app cleaner. I can't seem to change that so both app cleaners are in my applications. I am getting an error message that says App Store is a protected program. App Store is another cleaner and I don't like it. The right appcleaner where you can drag an app out of your applications has the ability to take it out of your library too so you don't just put the app in the trash.
